ORD receives its first Impact Factor of 0.4

We are delighted to announce that our esteemed journal, ORD (ISSN: 2391-6060), has achieved a significant milestone with the attainment of its inaugural Impact Factor. In June 2023, the Journal Citation Reports™ (Clarivate) awarded ORD an impressive Impact Factor of 0.4.
It is noteworthy that ORD maintains its inclusion in the prestigious Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) within the Web of Science Core Collection. This achievement marks a momentous occasion as Clarivate now extends Impact Factors to journals beyond the core flagship indices, SCIE and SSCI, enhancing the transparency surrounding the influence of ESCI-indexed journals.
The calculation of the 2022 Journal Impact Factor involves assessing the number of citations received by publications in our journal as recorded in the Web of Science during 2022. This figure is then divided by the total number of citable publications published in 2020 and 2021.
