40 points for papers published in ORD

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has announced a list of 30 676 publication titles which have been awarded points, including 29 037 journals and 1 679 conference proceedings. This number has increased by over 61% compared to the old list published in January 2017, which contained 19 014 titles. The list includes journals that are indexed in large-scale interdisciplinary international databases, such as the Web of Science or Scopus. These are high-quality journals.
Scientific journals and conference proceedings are awarded one of: 20, 40, 70, 100, 140 or 200 points. Approximately 400 leading Polish scientists, representing all disciplines, decided how many points to award to individual journals.
OR&D has been assigned to the following disciplines:
- technical informatics and telecommunications
- mechanical engineering
- economics and finance
- management and quality science
Papers published in Operations Research and Decisions are awarded 40 points.
